A bit about myself, I currently work in the visual effects industry for Industrial Light and Magic as a Lead Texture Artist.

In my role, I create realistic-looking CG surfaces and hair with a team of talented people. These are then incorporated into the film to help filmmakers tell their stories believably and seamlessly. More about my professional life here.

I usually spend my free time on painting, reading, making and looking at visuals. Sometimes I simply browse the internet mindlessly.

I'm a fan of H.R. Giger's work. My favourite movie to date is Wong Kar Wai's In the Mood for Love; favourite animation by far is Tekkonkinkreet; favourite non-fiction book currently is Murakami's What I Talk About When I Talk About Running.
